A eight-Session Guided Series

You’re Not Alone in This

For experienced equine-assisted service professionals (EFL/EFP) who are ready to stop pushing and start listening—without burning out.

You've Built Something Meaningful—And You're Exhausted.

What might be ready to emerge in your work if you stopped pushing—and started listening more deeply?
A Guided Eight Session Mastery Series for Experienced Equine-Assisted Service Professionals

If you’ve spent years holding space for others through equine-assisted work, you may be sensing something quietly shifting.

You’ve built something meaningful.

You care deeply about the horses, the people you serve, and the integrity of this work.

And yet many experienced practitioners are beginning to ask deeper questions about the next chapter.

Questions like:

  • How do I keep this work sustainable—for myself and my horses?
  • What might be ready to evolve in my programs?
  • What is asking to emerge in the next stage of my work with horses?

These are not business questions.

They are stewardship questions.

And they rarely have space to be explored.

This Is Not Another Certification or Training

This is not to add more to your plate but to help you reshape the plate entirely.

So that you can:

  • renew the purpose of your work
  • evolve your programs without abandoning your values
  • create offerings that are sustainable for you and your horses
  • rediscover inspiration in the work you love

In other words:

So that your work with horses can evolve instead of quietly fading.

This Series Is…

  • A structured, supportive container to slow down and listen so your business may grow.
  • Grounded in strengths-based practice and intentional growth.
  • Space to tend your own work with action steps.
  • Peer-level support where you can be seen, heard and supported.

This Series Is Not…

  • Adding more techniques or credentials to your resume.
  • Pressure to fix, overhaul, or ‘scale’ your business.
  • For those new to equine-assisted work.
  • Step-by-step instruction or introductory training.

Voices from the Field

"I'm aware that I've stopped viewing myself as someone trying to build a business and started seeing myself as the authority of my own practice. I used to look for external validation that my ideas were right, but now I believe that my intuition and my specific way of working with the horses are exactly what my clients need. I've shifted from seeking permission to taking ownership."

The biggest shift for me has been the move from ambiguity to clarity. I've gained so much confidence in my program design, and having those specific, clear-cut objectives in place feels like a massive milestone. I finally feel like the professional facilitator I set out to be."

"My experience with Dr. Terry Chase and this group has been humbling and empowering. The safe, supportive space that was created and the teachings gave me the courage to step outside my comfort zone discovering how and why I had built my own barriers to achieving the growth I so desired. Without Dr. Terry Chase and my group, I could not have worked through these discoveries to achieve what I have over the last 4 months. I have found my joy! I am so humbly grateful."

Your Guide

Dr. Terry Chase

CEIP-Ed, MA, ND

Dr. Terry Chase is a seasoned equine-facilitated learning practitioner, educator, and mentor with more than three decades of experience working at the intersection of leadership, well-being, and experiential education.

Over the course of her career, Terry has been part of the evolution of the equine-assisted field itself—bringing together a rich blend of theory, practice, and lived experience. Her training includes the Gestalt Equine Institute of the Rockies (GEIR), EAGALA, and HERD Institute EFL Level 1, along with her credential as a Certified Equine Interaction Professional–Education (CEIP-Ed).

Today, Terry’s work is devoted to supporting both the next generation of equine practitioners and those who have been in the field long enough to sense that their work is entering a new chapter. She is known for creating thoughtful, grounded spaces where experienced professionals can pause, reflect, and reconnect with the deeper purpose of their work with horses.

Her approach is rooted in deep listening, relational integrity, and a profound respect for horses as teachers and partners. Rather than focusing on technique alone, Terry guides practitioners toward greater discernment, sustainability, and alignment in how they live and lead their work.

Terry serves as Chair of the Health & Education Committee for PATH Intl. and as a member of the Board of Directors for CBEIP, contributing to the ongoing development and integrity of the profession.

Having lived fully with a spinal cord injury for more than 30 years, Terry brings a lived understanding of resilience, adaptability, and presence to everything she offers. Whether kayaking, cross-country skiing, hand-cycling, or spending time with horses, she embodies the grounded strength and openness inviting others to cultivate in their work and lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from other professional development?

Most professional development focuses on adding skills or certifications. This series focuses on the practitioner’s sustainability and the evolution of the practice itself. It’s about ‘being’ and ‘listening’ rather than just ‘doing’.

Is this therapy or coaching?

While therapeutic in nature, this is a professional development series. It offers a supportive container for reflection and growth but is not a substitute for personal therapy.

What if I can't attend all eight sessions?

We encourage full attendance to maintain the integrity of the group container. However, we understand life happens. Please contact Terry to discuss your specific situation.

What is the time commitment?

Beyond the sessions themselves, I invite you to spend some time in reflection between gatherings. There is no graded ‘homework,’ only invitations to deepen your inquiry.
